Fans' comments - Major spoiler to follow

---------------------
Oh, how I LOVED this one! This was truly Lili's episode!
------------
No kidding! It *was* GREAT!!!
-------------
Gotta agree there. I like it when they "spread themselves out" so to speak, I mean traveling a lot in the episode. If they have this great, fast way to travel, why stay in one place so much?
-------------
I liked it too! It was a great Lili ep!!
-------------
The scene where Lili was kickin' Boone's butt on the fitness course was PRICELESS!
--------------
I thought that was a particularly funny scene! That was too funny!
--------------
YES, and I loved that scene where she ran into Paul Chandler. I do have to agree with Paul when he said to Lili "and you're looking lovely as always." She indeed looked great even in sweats! I also liked his line to Lili "you still having men everywhere keep their ego in perspective."
--------------
I especially liked the references to them both having attended Valdosta together. That's in my home state! I've been there twice...it's in the SW corner of GA.
--------------
The scene where Lili is showing Chandler how the shuttle operates was AWESOME!
--------------
That was pretty cool. At least they finally sorta explained how the shuttle operates.
--------------
I know Paul is an astronaut, but it sure didn't take him long to figure out how to operate that shuttle. Old feelings coming back or not, I still am not too sure about him, I mean, using Lili like that.
--------------
The scene where Lili decks Chandler was AWESOMELY PRICELESS!
--------------
I laughed my a** off when that scene came on and the Dr. Pepper I was drinking went all over
--------------
Absolutely loved that scene. And when Lili confronted him, saying "Why did you steal the shuttle? My shuttle!"
--------------
I wish he would have been knocked out cold!
--------------
It was great when Augur interrupted Lili and Paul. I sure hope Lili lose that glass like Augur told her to. I kept wondering if that glass with Lili's prints is going to be an issue in future episodes.
--------------
One thing has been bothering me about Augur. I guess it's the history teacher in me. Augurs were priests in the time of the Roman Empire. Though they had priest-like duties, their ultimate loyalties were to the Emperors. Augurs also advised Emperors on governing the empire. I wonder if EFC will plan on letting Augur fulfill the total definition of his name and turn out to be working for the Taelons.
--------------
Plus, the bit about the Taelon colony on the far side of the moon was kinda cool too. =)
---------------
Finally, they are bringing in aspects of plot that show there is a "conflict" in the making. The first few eps made me wonder if they were ever going to make it an "us-versus-them" series.
---------------
For some reason it kinda reminded me of "V". I have no idea why. That was kinda creepy.
---------------
It was, this show is really starting to get very interesting and exciting! But the best part of this episode is the fact that we get to see so much of Lili. Lisa was absolutely TERRIFIC!!!
---------------
Yes. Lisa was Terrific! It was nice to see a lot more of her!!
---------------
Proof that it just isn't Boone's show, like HL was all Duncan's.
One last thing (a blooper, maybe): When Boone was looking up the address of the WV farm, the screen on the computer said "Briar Green, West Virginia", and Boone blurted out "Green Briar, West Virginia" and left the scene. Everyone else referred to it as Green Briar. Apparently, the imaging people goofed when creating the computer screens.
----------------
I agree with everything said here--best episode yet, and not just because I'm partial to Lisa. Get a load of that awesome ending! This series appears to be a lot more intelligent than "Independence Day" . It makes me wonder what the Taalons are up to, which is why I look forward to every episode with great anticipation. Of course, I look forward to Lisa, too!
---------------
Yes, I watched the episode last night and really loved it. It's going to be so hard to wait through all the reruns to find out what happens next. As for my comments, I really don't have anything to add to the ones that have already been posted.
***************
Here's some general comments after airing of Horizon Zero--
---------------
Does anyone else think that Da'an knows that Boone's implant is different then Sandoval's? The questions he asks lead me to think that he knows the loyalty imperative is not 100%, but he also has learned to trust that Boone is a fair man who is honest with him.
----------------
This is a good point. I'm beginning to think you're right. You can sort of tell it in the looks that Da'an gives to Boone every once in awhile, out of the corner of his/her eye. It'll be interesting to see what happens here.
----------------
I think Da'an might be suspicious of Boone's a little, I think that's the impression I have so far.
----------------
I think he appreciates Boone much more than Sandoval, because with the motivational imperative Sandoval and all other implants are suck-ups. Boone tells Da'an when he thinks Da'an is wrong, but also has proved his loyalty. It was interesting to re-watch the original episode which was rerun last night. In the very beginning the first time Da'an saw Boone, he had a reaction. I think the Taleons react internally when they go into that translucent synapses like appearance, like when they talk to one another. Da'an did that when he first was introduced to Boone.
----------------
Come to think of it, most successful SF series have action figures being marketed. Where are the EFC action figures? Now I know the EFC is not an "action" show, but I bet that Lili could give the new Barbie a run for the money. A real woman! Strong, powerful, independent, smart, and great looking. A real 90's combination. A character that is sticking up for herself and her fellow people. A role model if ever there was one! No strings on her for sure.
