***This was INCREDIBLE! I can't believe the ending though! How can they bring Boone back from the dead? Zo'or, I REALLY HATE YOU NOW!

***Well, I really don't see how they can bring him back! He's gone!

***The only thing that makes me tend to think they can bring them back is the way his little molecules went up to join the comanion continum. I don't think that's normal for a 'human'. And if Rayna could be..regenerated?..maybe Boone can, too?

***Why is it that I'm not convinced that it was Boone in the tank in the first place...maybe Ha'gel pulled a switcheroo with Boone at the last minute. What was Boone mumbling before he "died" and why wasn't everyone more upset when he died or was dying? I would of imagined Da'an being more upset or even Lili with a crying scene.

***I just had a thought...

How do we know that it reelly was Boone who died in the first place? It could have been a simulation... It would explain the casual attitude about his death....

***Why is Zo'or in the middle of everything now? What happened to Da'an's authority? Seems like Da'an is more in the background now, why?

***Yeah, I've wondered about this, too, lately.

***What will happen with Beckette? Man this episode was unbelievable!

***Beckette and her instinct! What really made Beckette suspect Lili?

***I wondered that, too. Could there be a mole inside the Resistance?

***Yes, I really wonder what will happen to Beckette now, what about her BABY? She *is* an implant, so its not like she'll wake up and join the Resistance.

***That's true.

***I can't wait till second season! I wanna hear about Beckett's baby. Wonder how it will end up...........

***I sure hope TPTB will deal with all this early on in season two. They seems to have a way to just drop unfinished issues. Like what happened to Lili and Da'an!?

***Well, if EFC has a 5-year arc like Babylon 5 did (which makes sense considering Strazyinski (sp?) was consulted about it) it could take a long time before some of the 'truth' comes out.

***They'd better have something about Lili and Da'an next season! We're WAITING!

***That reminds me, did you all noticed how it affect human when Taelons and Quo'on touch them? Just like when Da'an touched Lili in Wrath of Achilles!

***I am *definitely* going to have to watch this episode again... (I wish it didn't come on so late here! I must've been half asleep.)

***Why did Quo'on picked up that girl from the Flat Planet Cafe, went home with her and then killed her? What was the point?

***Uhh, it wasn't Quo'on that took the girl. It was Ha'gel. The bad dude.

***I don't think that was Quo'on...LOL. What would the Synod say about that?

That was Ha'gel who picked up the chick. I think that he tried to implant her with a baby but it was just too much for her to handle. Beckett has a CVI that probably kept her from dying when she was implanted.

***I got the name mixed up! Yes, it was Ha'gel. Hmm... you got a point about him trying to implant the girl who died. Can't think of any other reason since he didn't take her body as a host.

***Err.... Goddenport, Sandoval looked good half naked! I can't say the same about Boone though. (ducking from Boone fans)

***LOL!!

***LOL!! All this nudity must mean sweeps week. Don't know what to say to Von when I chat with him tonight. I feel like I've seen too much of him now.

***Sandy *did* look good....but don't remind me! My friend called me that night and she was blabbing for twenty minutes about that short segment! I didn't know about Boone myself.......(all the Boone fans are probably wanting to kill us....)

***So I was right in thinking that Zo'or killed Boone? He is such a nasty being!

***That Zo'or *is* a nasty being!

***Yes, I would like to know what Boone was saying when he died--couldn't understand him either.

***Same here!

***That stuff about that other race that tried to take over the Taelon race in the past was scary!! Were they saying that that is starting to happen again to both Taelons & humans?? Ha'gel was a Taelon that had that genetic virus, right? It is interesting to learn that the Taelon race is "bound" to another race just as humans are to Taelons--each needs the other to continue.

***I really wasn't clear about all that. Didn't Da'an said something to Zo'or that it was the Taelons who destroyed Ha'gel's race? Now they're one! I need to rewatch that episode when I have a chance.

***This ep was confusing--a lot to take in! Who is Quo'on?? Never heard of him before reading you guys' messages.

***Quo'on is the head of the Synod. (am I right on that, guys?) He was in the last episode "Destruction."

***One thing I thought was really dumb was, why did Lili hesitate so long to shoot at Beckett?? I know she does not want to kill anyone, but she seemed determined to keep her from discovering the Resistance.

***As far as I can tell, Lili wasn't aiming in direct access to shoot Beckett. She was on the other side (inside) of the entrance. Lili was position to shoot Beckett in case Beckett figured out how to open the entrance door to the underground. What does it look like to you all?

***That makes sense. I hadn't thought about that. :-)

***That's what it looked like to me. I also don't think Boone's dead, hope not.

***Then Beckett alerted Sandoval.....of course he wasn't really Sandy but Lili didn't know that. Lili would have been majorly busted if it had really been Sandoval!!

***Yeah, I know it *wasn't* Sandy, but Sandy *was* the one shot Boone!

***Beckett suspected Lili was in the Resistance because she did could not accept the fact that someone would not want to become an implant. She does not see the negative aspects of being one--probably because of her implant.

***You've got a point there.

***what is sandovel's secret that he is was holding from the taelon's ?

***I don't think we know what Sandoval's secret is. Hopefully we'll find out in season two.

***I watched "Joining" last night. Wow! Now there is no doubt what the Taelons want. They are not able to reproduce. They need humans to carry the new children. If we can ever bring the Taelons to trial, it would be as serial rapists!

***Hadn't thought of that! The serial rapists part.....Yuck! Now I wonder how many Taelons are there all together. Hmm.... 71 came to earth less Ro'ha? (can't remember the numbers)

***Ha'gel did not fire at Lili. Why not? Was it because she was not a threat?

***He was dazzled by her beauty. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :)

***Was it because she was too close to Beckett? Probably so. He would have needed to protect THE CHILD.

***I thought he hesitated because he probably thought it best to save all the women for "later purpose", but I like your version better.

***Definitely, its because of THE CHILD! No doubt in my mind about that!

***Why did Zo'or vaporize Boone? Maybe that was not Boone, but Ha'gel in the tank. But how could that have happened.

***It can't! I mean Ha'gel was no where near Boone to take his body as a host. It was very clear to me that Ha'gel shot Boone from a distance. Didn't Boone hit Ha'gel too? To me, it looked like they both hit each other right on.

***Likely Zo'or will find a way to blame the deaths of Boone and Beckett on Joshua Doors.

***Hadn't thought of that.

***If they told Sandoval that Beckett is dead, what are they going to tell her when she wakes up? What will they tell Sandoval when he find that Beckett is alive?

***That's what I want to know. How are they going to handle Beckett when she wakes up! How would she feels when she wakes up? With THE CHILD!!!!

***How do the Skrills figure into this? When Sandy (Hi, Goddenport..) was put into that cocoon thingy, did the Skrill shut itself down, too? And how will Bennett's react to being pregnant? Will it try to "kick out" the invading enemy? Oh, well, these are questions always generated by season-ending cliffhangers.

Call it Highlander deja vu, but having Lisa Howard involved in a shootout in a church, being pursued by some bad guy out to kill your male co-star, and a pregnant woman's life hanging in the balance was just a bit too familiar. At least Father Bernard was nowhere to be seen.

***grin*

***LOL!!! What you wrote was GREAT! Sure brought back OLD memories! Trust me, everytime I saw that old church, it *was* Highlander deja vu.

***Is it just me, or does this seem derivative of the baby story in "V"? If Roddenberry came up with these concepts in the 1970's, then I guess the V story was derivative of _his_ story...

***I thought you folks would be amused to know that the panel at Media West for EFC was called: V vs. Earth: Final Conflict--Do the Taelons have better PR? It was decided that they definitely do. I also found out that Boone is indeed dead. Evidently Kevin K. asked to be let out of his contract for next year to be closer to his girlfriend in LA. They're going to introduce another male character. I guess they don't know yet if he's going to be a Boone replacement (sort of like a new actor taking over Boone's mind, like with Lili's father) or someone else entirely. I guess we'll find out. There was even some great EFC art in the artshow. This was really nice to see.

***I wonder how this will affect the storyline projections of Roddenberry? I don't think they would rewrite the whole five-year plan just because KK wanted to leave. This makes me think they will transfer his brain into someone else (whoops, I mean transfer BOONE's brain into some other character...I'm losing that line between reel and real again!).

***Though I am indifferent to the news, I do feel badly for you Boone fans! :-(

***Like I said, I hope it doesn't disrupt the flow of the arc. And if Kilner loves his girlfriend enough to leave his job, he's gotta be one helluva nice guy.

***It'll be interesting to see whether they'll keep the Boone character with a different actor. Since they introduced the technology of putting a person in a different body. (does that sound right?) I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to replace anyone! If they do that, will it be the first on a TV series?

***Doctor Who was doing it since 1966. His character could "regenerate", which was a convenient way to keep the Doctor on the air when the lead actor decided to quit. He regenerated seven times in the series (and once for a TV movie; that means eight Docs have been on TV!).

***Since Boone is human, as far as we know, something new would have to be invented to explain such a transition.

***I have come to like the Boone character, to be sure, but I enjoy the show as a whole. I pray that this transition does not cripple the show. If it does, would Kilner gain a reputation as a show killer?

***He's really gone? That's too bad. That's a good question about whether it will be a new Boone or a new character. The whole beginning of the show is about Boone's quest to stop the Taelons, now it will be someone else? Time for a new opening for the show.

***The second season will either be the greatest thing to hit the screen in years, or the writers will let us down totally. If have confidence that we are in for some great stuff!

***I really look forward to the new season. But how many months do we have to wait??
